About

The oldest of three children, Noel grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and central Florida.

Always interested in other cultures, she was an exchange student in Japan when she was in college. She speaks some Spanish, Japanese, and can introduce herself in Russian and Hindi. She has traveled all over the U.S. and hopes someday to travel to Europe, and revisit Japan.

Noel has been learning about henna and the art of mehndi since 2000, and began actively practicing it in 2006. She teaches kindergarten at an Atlanta public school, and sponsors a henna art club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. She has a BA in Art, and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction. The summer of 2006 she painted her classroom.
